Основним видом діяльності є вантажно-розвантажувальні роботи, які проводяться в портовому пункті Кілія, який розташований на 54 км річки Дунай. Паспортні глибини біля причалу – 3 м, фактичні – 1,5 м. Лімітуючим для заходу суден в річку Дунай є канал Дунай-Чорне море, глибина якого коливається в межах 3-,5-4 м в залежності від пори року.
