Призначена для лікувальних цілей та виробництва препаратів плазми крові. Компонент «Плазма лейкофільтрована" отримують методами аферезу або первинного фракціонування донорської крові, вилученої із судинного русла менше ніж за 10 хв. від початку венепункції та заморожують в термін, що не перевищує 6 годин від моменту донації з метою гарантії збереження функціональної повноцінності факторів системи гемостазу.
