The state auction of Ukraine can be of two types: English or hybrid Dutch.

English auction

The most common among Prozorro.Sale auctions — English. It consists of 3 rounds, each lasting 3 minutes. The principle is very simple: each round, participants take turns placing a bet, raising it, or leaving it unchanged. The one who offers the highest bid wins.

Dutch hybrid auction

Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №432 dated 10.05.2018 regulates the conduct of electronic auctions for the sale of small-scale privatization objects through an electronic trading platform. Decision of the Executive Directorate of the FGVFO №388 dated 24.03.2016 regulates the procedure for selling property included in the liquidation estate of banks that are in the process of liquidation. It establishes the basic principles and criteria for determining the priority of asset sales, which are used when drawing up sales plans at the level of such banks, as well as when forming proposals for the sale of individual assets or their pools.

Bankruptcy property

Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №865 dated 02.10.2019 establishes the amount of the guarantee deposit, the terms of its payment and return, as well as additional requirements for announcements of auctions for the sale of bankrupt property in bankruptcy or insolvency cases.

Voluntary sale

A voluntary sale of property is a decision by the owner to alienate his property to third parties. Such trading is also regulated by the Regulations of the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sale.
